August 17:

Packing a bag for the trip to Belgium. Football tomorrow. Standard Liege against our Helsingborg.

Diary - the trip to Thailand and Laos.

Ohoy. Will try to get as musch crap in here as  possible. Lean back, open a beer and read what we are doing.

June 20:

Ready for take-off and the beer is cold.

June 22:

Arrived in Bangkok after a 10 & half hour, tired, really tired. Had 2 wait in the passportcheck for an hour - not very fastworking this morning. Then we grabed our cab to the busstation. So 8:45 we sat on the bus to the north east side of Thailand and a town called Khonkaen to visit Ou and her family.

It took us 29 hours to get there from Helsingborg. Food, beer, shower and then some sleep.

June 23:

Up in the morning and then we went to Ou's parents school. Took some pics and all the children were dressed in green. Everybody wanted to say "hello" and shake my hand.

Then we had some lunch, a real real thairestaurant, then we went to see the dinosaurs. Had a few beer and then we drove to a ricefarm and walked around on that. I should now tell you all to eat up all your rice during supper. It"s a real heavy and crapy work to grow rice. My hat come off to all the people that has this as their job.

We are now trying to fix the trip to Laos and the we leave tomorrow.

June 24-27:

Lao is a beautiful country and pretty easy to travel in. If you don't do it like us....go in the monsunseason. Rain rain rain and then some rain. First hour it was ok because it has been really hot over here. But in the evning we hoped for soom sun the next day so we could have a nice trip up to the mountins. Well, we got some more rain and when we booked ther boattrip on a manmade lake we got a bit wet, soaked. :-) . And when we got to the bungalows by the river we were a bit nervous because the water was up 3 meters. We stayed in the hotel and hope for the best. WRONG.... Next morning we had water up to the hotel and we couldn't leave. One more day at the hotel and all we could do was to play card. Next morning we got up early because the water was going back. Took us 5 hours to get to the border to Thailand. Happy, wet and with a nice cold we were back home.

June 28:

Got to Khonkaen to do some heavy shopping. But first we went to the hospital with SMajkels foot. No problem, the ligament were just a bit long. Then we got some clothes, beer, water and a new riceboiler for mum and a whiskey for dad.

June 29:

Speaking english to the school in Ban Kanuan. Got some pics up and fixed a few other things. Said goodbye to everybody.

June 30:

Up at 05:00, got in the car at 05:30, 1 hour later and then some we got of at the airport. Said goodbye to Ou and dad. The airport in Khon Kaen is not very big, but qute. Got on the plane to Bangkok. Spent the day in the airport and got on the next plane att 14-isch. Landed on Koh Samui in the evening. Found a nice place on Bo Phut beach but way to many falangs, not my coup off tea. Up early to take a taxi to the port and then a boat over to Koh Pha Ngan. Found a taxi direct in Thong Sala that is a pretty big city now. 40 minutes later we got to Dolphin and Kim, Giet and Chakris. Nice.

1 July:

A bit cloudy - sunburn, walking on the beach and took a swim.

2 July:

Sun is up, walking the whole beach, got red, really red.

3 July:

Woke up, had some fruit and a coffee. Took a footmassage...did you know that when you do that they will also massage your legs, arms and neck..funny. But hey, it was the best. Took a swim, had soom lunch at Nice beach and talked to Bao and everybody else.

Election in Thailand today, loads of idiots will probably fight.....I thinks it's just crazy.

Got some pictures of Kim's and Giet's new house....it is fabolous...if you need to rent a house just let me know and I will get the information forward...you will love.....

4 July:

Sick. Lots of reading in the toilet. See ya.

5 July:

Got in to Thong Sala to buy some medicin and walk around. This small village got really big since last time we were here. But they still sell loads of crap. But we got a light lunch at the fabolous A's place.

6 July:

Waaaaaarm......did nothing. Gonna take a swim. Went up to Kim and Giet mountain house and took some pictures. Sooo nice....

7 July: Swiming, got red, drinking beer...

8 July: Swiming, din nothing during the day. Had dinner with Kim, Giet, Mem and the people from Longtail and Havana, and then we had some more wine and beer at Dolphin.

9 July: Still paradise. Did nothing, Swiming around in the ocean and got red and wet...
